Guardianship for an elderly parent – We retained Anthony to help us expand the powers of an existing Guardianship we have for our elderly mother who suffers from advanced Alzheimer’s. Anthony quickly filed all the necessary papers with the Court and attended all scheduled hearings on our behalf. Although the Court was initially skeptical of our request, Anthony worked hard to convince the Court of the merits of our request. Just the thought of having to speak to a lawyer would give me anxiety. I dreaded the process of Estate Planning and trusts and therefore, I procrastinated. But Anthony changed all of that. A. Falcone has been working for me on a very difficult guardianship situation for the last 4+ years. It is difficult enough dealing with 2 parents with dementia. Imagine trying to be their guardian with their issues and a great deal of non-cooperation from other relatives. Then add in having two of the judges pass away during the guardianship period. Anthony was always there both in terms of doing the necessary paperwork, assisting in the liquidation of their assets and going to court when necessary. Anthony’s and his staff’s work was consistently excellent and not once did any of the judges or clerks have any complaints with the motions that were filed in these two cases. I would strongly recommend anyone needing an attorney especially in the area of elder law or guardianships to consult with Mr. Falcone.

Anthony brought both expertise and understanding to a very complicated area. Estate and trust work, Wills and an array of other necessary documents could seem overwhelming, but he made the process understandable; he explained everything in easy to understand language and explained all the variations that should be considered before finalizing anything. I would highly recommend Anthony Falcone for your elder care and estate planning needs. He helped us with a difficult, stressful process of filing a Medicare application, power of attorney & a will. Anthony can sit you down and talk to you like a person and explain complex stuff without making you dizzy. He gives you options and I love that. He gives you the law and the facts and lets you choose what is best for you. He gives you his opinion but doesn’t force anything or push you to do anything.
